With the approaching New Year's holidays, and in particular the holiday, many people begin to be interested in questions regarding the coming year, for example: what animal will it be, what to expect from this year, whether it is a leap year or not, and of course how many days will there be in 2016: 366 or 365 and how many of them are workers, and how many are holidays and weekends. Well, let's try to understand these interesting questions.

So, let’s immediately note that the next year 2016 will be a leap year, which means that the number of calendar days in it is 366, which is one day more than in previous non-leap years (due to February 29).

And as for working days, weekends and holidays in 2016, then their total number will help us determine for Russia, which has all the information we need, including working time standards. So, according to the data of this working calendar, in 2016. there will be only 366 calendar days, of which 247 are working days (which is 1974 hours with a 40-hour work week) and 119 holidays and weekends.

The longest weekend in 2016 in Russia will be on new year holidays, since we will be on vacation for a whole decade (from the first to the tenth of January), for this reason, January will become the month with the largest number of days off. Well, most of all, Russians will have to work hard in August - 23 days, as well as in September and December for 22 days.

We hope that with the question “ How many calendar days are there in 2016?” – we helped you figure it out.
