Lavash pie with different fillings, recipes with photos. How to cook lavash pies in a frying pan according to a step-by-step recipe with photos Lemon lavash pie

The pie is salty, soft, tender, moist. Can be served with both coffee and beer. I liked it better warm.

Recipe 1: Lavash pie with kefir and cheese

  • 1 sheet of thin pita bread (size 70×55cm),

Scramble the eggs with kefir.

Tear the lavash sheet in half.

Pour 2 onto half a sheet

3 tablespoons of kefir mixture and spread evenly (it is convenient to spread with a pastry brush).

Place in a mold with a diameter of 20 cm so that the pita bread follows the contours of the mold.

Do the same with the other half of the pita bread - spread it and place it in the mold.

Pour about 1/3 cup of kefir mixture.

Mix the remaining kefir mass with grated cheese.

Place half of the cheese mass in the mold and cover the top with the hanging ends of the top sheet of lavash.

Place the second part of the cheese. Cover with the edges of the bottom sheet of lavash.

Coat the top with poured kefir mass.

Place in the oven at t=200

220°C until the surface is browned (

Recipe 2: Lazy cheese and lavash pie (with milk)

proportions are given for a 20×30 cm mold

  • 2 packages of 200 g of thin Armenian lavash (we sell it in the form of rolls, I buy it, it’s very convenient to put this “footcloth” into a mold)
  • 300 g cheese
  • 2-3 eggs
  • 2-3 cloves of garlic
  • milk

Grate the cheese on a coarse grater, add eggs, chopped garlic (you can do it without it, but it’s more piquant), mix, gradually pour milk into the mixture to make a thick cheese “dough” (like pancakes). The filling is ready.

Place a sheet of lavash on a baking sheet, grease with filling,

again lavash filling, etc. until we have used all the pita bread and filling. The top layer should be pita bread.

Bake at 180*C for about 15 minutes (this time is enough for the cheese to melt and set, and the edges of the pie to become crispy.

then cut into pieces

Recipe 3: Lavash and cheese pie in a slow cooker (lazy achma)

  • 2 large sheets of thin Armenian lavash,
  • 200 g of any hard cheese,
  • 300 g of Adyghe cheese or feta cheese (or replace with cottage cheese),
  • 2 eggs,
  • A pinch of salt (if you use feta cheese, then no salt is needed),
  • Herbs, spices and garlic - at your discretion

Sour cream (or kefir) filling for lavash pie:

  • 2-3 eggs,
  • 300 g sour cream or kefir

The recipe for making lazy achma can be changed by adding different types of sausage, meat (chopped minced meat or chicken, fried or raw) or mushrooms to the cheese filling. And if you replace the lavash, it’s ready.

Recipe 4: Lavash and cheese pie with mayonnaise

  • 1 package of thin pita bread,
  • 4 tbsp. spoons of mayonnaise,
  • 400 g cheese,
  • 1 glass of milk,
  • 2 eggs,
  • 30 g butter

Grease the pan in which you are going to bake the cake with butter. Preferably thicker. Cut the lavash sheets to fit the mold.

I got seven round cakes. But, if you want to make a bigger pie, you can take two or three packages. Then the mass of ingredients will naturally increase. Grate the cheese on a coarse grater.

I took “Russian”, but with “Gouda” cheese it will be simply delicious.

Lubricate the flatbread with mayonnaise, a thin layer,

so as not to be too cloying. Now sprinkle with cheese. The bigger, the better.

Cover with the second tortilla.

I ended up with seven layers.

Now pour milk into a bowl, add eggs, a little salt and beat with a mixer. Pour this omelette over the pie.

Preheat the oven to 200 degrees. Place the pie in the oven and bake for about twenty-thirty minutes until a golden crust forms.

You can cook pita bread with cheese in the microwave. The same thing, but keep it until the cheese melts.

Recipe 5: Lavash pie with chicken and cheese (with cream)

A quick and tasty pie made from regular thin pita bread with chicken and cheese. An excellent competitor to pizza or pies made from ready-made puff pastry.

  • thin lavash 2 pcs.
  • egg 3 pcs.
  • cheese 300 g
  • chicken fillet 500 g
  • cream 100 g
  • greens 30 g
  • walnuts 100 g
  • olive oil 4 tbsp
  • salt pepper

Prepare minced chicken fillet: grind the fillet with herbs, garlic, onion and add 1 egg. Add salt and pepper to taste.

Grate the hard cheese; you can add walnuts and herbs chopped in a blender.

If the pita bread is long, then it needs to be cut in half to make it convenient to wrap. Place minced chicken fillet on pita bread, sprinkle cheese on top and wrap.

Place the wrapped pita bread in a greased pan.

Prepare a dressing from whipped cream with egg and cheese, add olive oil and herbs.

Pour dressing on top of the lavash pie and bake at 180C for 30 minutes.

Delicious homemade baked goods! Just one phrase makes your mouth water. How nice it is to gather the whole family at one table in the evening to drink a cup of herbal tea with mint and some baked goods. It's fun to do even alone! Especially if it’s a warm summer day and you have the opportunity to admire the sky from a balcony or terrace, or just from a bench under the window of your own home. But this whole idyll can be destroyed by several obstacles. Firstly, you don’t always have time to prepare an ordinary dinner, and then you also need to bake something! Secondly, in the summer heat you don’t want to spend a lot of time in the kitchen!

It’s good that there are recipes that will take no more than 30 minutes to prepare! Today we will offer you exactly this one! It is extremely easy to prepare, but despite its simplicity and unpretentiousness, the result is worthwhile! This is a simple and quick dish made from ingredients that you always have on hand and give you the opportunity to improvise. The pie is prepared on the basis of pita bread. You can prepare it at any time of the year: in summer and autumn using fresh fruits, and in winter - frozen or ordinary jam or jam. You can use any jam, but it’s better to combine sweet and sour. This will enrich the taste of the baked goods.

    Ingredients:

  • Thin lavash - 2 sheets
  • Any jam - 400 g
  • Egg - 1 pc.
  • Butter (cream, milk) - 50 g

Step-by-step photos on how to prepare the recipe:

Melt the butter in a steam bath and beat the egg. Mix.

Let's prepare the filling.

You can take two different jams to make the taste more interesting. I had quince and grape.

We grease each sheet, laying it in layers, like lasagna.

Finish everything with a layer of pita bread. Pour the egg with the butter in which the sheets were soaked onto it.

Place in an oven preheated to 180 degrees and bake for 15-20 minutes.

This pie can be served with tea either cold or hot.

Tasty and fast!

Bon appetit everyone!

A huge plus of this recipe is that you don't need to fuss with the dough. Here we use the well-known sheet Armenian lavash, which can be purchased in any store. But it is easy to prepare at home. The recipe is already on the website. Moreover, you can use it instead of ordinary bread, as well as preparing a variety of snacks and rolls from it.

The history of the origin of lavash is very interesting. It is difficult to say whether this is true or a beautiful legend, but the peoples of Armenia claim that lavash was invented during the reign of King Aram, who during one of the battles was captured by the Assyrian king. But the winner did not want to simply kill his opponent. He set the condition that they fight in archery. But only until the day of the appointed competition (which was to take place in 10 days) the captive should not eat any bread. The ruler agreed to the proposed conditions, but demanded his best and most beautiful vestments. Assyrian messengers went to the army of Aram.

The savvy Armenians, when they heard about the deal of their rulers, delayed the messengers a little and only the next morning sent the shell to their master. None of the Assyrians could even guess that thin flatbreads of bread were hidden in it. But Aram quickly discovered this, carefully removed the pita bread and sent the armor back, saying that he had more suitable ones in the camp. This happened all 10 days. As a result, the king won the shooting and was sent home. At home, he ordered all those served to bake only such bread from now on in memory of his salvation.

  2. Finely chop 15 g of dill and add it to the cottage cheese.

  3. Salt the resulting filling to taste and mix thoroughly.

Recipe for lavash pies with potatoes in the oven

Cooking time: 50 minutes.
Number of servings: 5.
Calorie content per 100 g: 153 kcal.
Kitchen tools: frying pan, knife, kitchen scissors, saucepan, grater, cutting board, spatula, silicone brush, baking sheet, parchment.

Ingredients

Step-by-step preparation

  1. For the filling, prepare mashed potatoes. Cut 430 g of potatoes into arbitrary cubes and place in a saucepan. Add 1.3 liters of water and let the potatoes cook until fully cooked.
  2. To make the puree tasty and aromatic, add salt to taste, 1 bay leaf and the top layer of onion to the pan.
  3. While the potatoes are cooking, you can prepare the remaining ingredients for the filling. Take 1 Armenian lavash, fold it in half lengthwise and cut it into 2 parts.

  4. We put the 2 parts together and then cut them into pieces of 12-13 cm.

  5. Take 1 onion and finely chop it.

  6. Pour 17 ml of vegetable oil into the frying pan and put the onion in it. You can fry the onions in butter or ghee for more flavor.

  7. Add salt to taste and ½ tsp. Italian or Provençal herbs. Stirring occasionally, fry the onion until lightly golden. To enhance the taste and aroma, add chopped garlic cloves to the pan.

  8. When the potatoes are cooked, drain the water from them into a separate container, and then mash them into a puree. While preparing the puree, add a little of the broth in which it was cooked to achieve the desired consistency. The puree should be soft and not very dry.

  9. Next, add the fried onion to the puree and mix everything until smooth. Let the potatoes cool slightly.

  10. Grate 65 g of any hard cheese on a coarse grater. When buying cheese, pay attention to those varieties that melt well.
  11. Then finely chop 10 g of fresh dill.

  12. Add cheese and dill to the pan with cooled potatoes, and then mix everything again.
  13. Let's move on to forming the pies: put the filling on a piece of pita bread, trying not to add it to the edge, and roll it into a roll.

  14. We do the same with the remaining ingredients. Line a heat-resistant pan with a sheet of parchment and place the pies on it.

  15. Take the remaining 10 ml of vegetable oil and add 3 g of turmeric there. Brush the tops of the pies with the mixture. Did you know? Turmeric will give baked goods a beautiful golden color.

  16. Sprinkle sesame seeds on top.

  17. Place the pies in the preheated oven and bake for 15-20 minutes. Set the temperature to 200 degrees.

The finished baked goods are very tasty, aromatic, with a crispy crust. Serve this dish with any sauce or sour cream.

Depending on what filling you use in preparing the dish, thin flatbread envelopes can be served not only for breakfast and lunch. They will look great on the holiday table.

And you can fill the finished dough with anything.

For example, by filling thin pita bread with cherries, you will enjoy a delicious dessert that is sold only at McDonald's. And triangular-shaped envelopes with apples, cooked in the oven, will delight your little gourmets.

Armenian lavash is unleavened and this is its advantage. It will not spoil the taste of the finished dish, even if you prepare lazy pies with meat, cottage cheese, cabbage, and sausage.

By spending a minimum of effort and time, you will feed the whole family and even invited guests.
