Who is building the northeast highway? A section of the north-eastern expressway has opened

These strange words in the title are the names of grandiose road construction projects in Moscow. One way or another, you have heard them - North-East Chord, North-Western Chord and South Rokada. - just an exit from the Shchelkovskoe highway to the temporary storage warehouse towards the Entuziastov highway. Now let's look at these construction sites from the air. The first part on temporary storage was published by me in May -.

In Moscow in 2016, 104 km of roads were built, which is a record construction.

In total, over the past 6 years (from 2011 to 2016), 544 km of roads were built and put into operation (about 12.5% of the entire existing road network of the city), including:
- 162 artificial structures (overpasses, tunnels and bridges) and 160 off-street pedestrian crossings were built;
- 8 outbound highways (126 km) were reconstructed, full-fledged backup routes were created, as well as dedicated lanes for public transport with a total length of 150 km (this is 60% of the entire length of the existing dedicated lanes in the city - 250 km), 350 drive-in pockets were created;
- 13 largest and most complex transport interchanges were built and reconstructed at the intersection of highways with the Moscow Ring Road.

In 2017-2019 it is planned to ensure the commissioning of roads with a length of 353 km; build 61 artificial structures and 36 pedestrian crossings.

All aerial surveys were completed sturman from urbanoid.pro. On his YouTube channel you can find a lot of interesting videos.

1. The diagram shows the mileage only by chord: how much has already been done, what is in the works, and what is still being designed.

2. Let's start with South Rokada, where at the intersection with the Warsaw Highway the first stage of construction is in full swing - the construction of an overpass for the Warsaw Highway.

3. Site diagram.

4. The second stage, as far as I understand, will be the construction of a tunnel for the South Rokada. At least there is such a scheme and rendering.

5. We managed to fly, right before the squall.

6. The construction of the railway tunnel will be completed, as usual, without stopping traffic.

7. And now the famous T-junction in the air. This is the junction of the Southern understudy of Kutuzovsky Prospekt with Mosfilmovskaya Street.

12. But very unusual look, Certainly.

13. And this is the interchange of the Southern understudy of Kutuzovsky Prospekt with the Southern Rokada. It is also drawn in the diagram above.

14. The most delicious thing is the construction of a new bridge across the Moscow River on the site North-Western Expressway.

15. Site diagram.

16. It is being built parallel to the existing Krylatsky Bridge.

17. The span structure of the old bridge is made in the form of a continuous steel beam with a ride on top, the span formula is 51.2 + 90.0 + 51.2 m. The structure is based on two box-shaped beams 2.5 m high, 2.74 m wide, covered with an orthotropic slab. The beams rest on two common V-shaped supports. The total width of the bridge is 25.4 m, including the roadway - 18.0 m (4 lanes). As far as I understand, the new bridge will be a copy of the old one according to the design.

18. Section of the North-Western Expressway from the bridge to the Northern alternate route of Kutuzovsky Prospekt.

19. And this is the beginning of work on the construction of a 300-meter cable-stayed bridge across lock No. 9

20. It will connect Narodnogo Opolcheniya Street with Nizhniye Mnevniki above the gateway along an oblique line, not far from the existing small Karamyshevsky Bridge. At the same time, they plan to create pedestrian zones and an observation deck on the suspension bridge.

37. Moscow is changing before our eyes

38. In total, over the past 6 years, 561 km of roads have been built in Moscow. This is approximately 12.5% of the entire existing road network of the city. Reconstruction of 13 transport interchanges at the intersection of major highways with the Moscow Ring Road and 8 outbound highways was carried out. The length of backup and dedicated public transport lanes was about 150 km. In 2017-2019 it is planned to ensure the commissioning of roads with a length of 353 km; build 61 artificial structures and 36 pedestrian crossings.

39. Happy upcoming Builder's Day!

Car traffic is open along the section of the North-Eastern Expressway from Entuziastov Highway to the Moscow Ring Road, Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin announced today.

“I couldn’t deny myself the pleasure - I drove from the Kosinskaya interchange to the Entuziastov Highway, the highway turned out to be first-class. In fact, this is one of the most difficult sections of the North-Eastern Expressway, the engineering itself is very difficult, the longest overpass in the city is 2.5 km straight ahead,” said S. Sobyanin.
By new route you can drive from Kosinskaya overpass on the Moscow Ring Road to the Open Highway. Now in Moscow there is a traffic-light-free road 20 km long (taking into account previously introduced sections).
Construction of the section of the North-Eastern Expressway (SVH) from the Entuziastov Highway to the Moscow Ring Road began in February 2016 and was completed in September 2018.
The traffic-free highway runs from temporary storage area at the intersection with the Entuziastov Highway, then from the northern side of the Kazan direction of the Moscow Railway to the exit to the MKAD (Kosinskaya overpass).
A total of 11.8 km of roads were built, including six overpasses with a total length of 3.7 km. As part of the section, the longest overpass in Moscow was built, 2.5 km long from the Plyushchevo Moscow Railway platform to the overpass exit from the street. Perovskaya at the temporary storage warehouse. In addition, an overpass has been erected from which you can exit the expressway onto Perovskaya Street.
From the side of residential buildings in the area of Kuskovskaya and Anosova streets, as well as near the Church of the Assumption Holy Mother of God in the Veshnyaki area, noise barriers 3 meters high were installed over a distance of more than 1.5 km.
“This is one of the most difficult areas. 60% of the route passes over the Mosvodokanal communications. We had to carry out a lot of work to strengthen these communications over 12 kilometers,” said First Deputy Head of the Moscow Construction Department Pyotr Aksenov.
We also took care of pedestrians. The new crossings will make it more convenient to get to the Vykhino metro station, the Vykhino and Plyushchevo platforms, the Assumption Church and the Veshnyakovsky cemetery.
The launch of a new section of the highway will help distribute traffic flows and reduce the load on Ryazansky Prospekt, Entuziastov Highway and Shchelkovskoye Highway, as well as on the eastern sectors of the Moscow Ring Road and the Third Ring Road.
The transport situation in the southeastern and eastern sectors of the city will significantly improve, and entry into the central part of the capital will be simplified for residents of the Kosino-Ukhtomsky and Nekrasovka districts, located outside the Moscow Ring Road, and residents of Lyubertsy near Moscow.

Let us remind you that the North-Eastern Expressway will run from the M11 Moscow – St. Petersburg highway to the Kosinskaya overpass (the interchange at the intersection of the Moscow Ring Road with the Veshnyaki-Lyubertsy highway).
The length of the temporary storage warehouse will be about 35 km. The road will pass through 28 districts of Moscow and 10 large industrial zones, which with its arrival will have the opportunity for development.

Currently, work on the construction of three new highways is in full swing in the capital: the North-Western and North-Eastern Expressways, as well as the South Road.

North-East Expressway

Length North-East Expressway will be about 29 kilometers. It must, bypassing the center of the capital, urban areas in the north and southeast of Moscow, which are considered the most densely populated.

The highway will pass through the largest highways in the northeast of the capital - Dmitrovskoye, Altufevskoye, Otkrytoye, and Izmailovskoye highways, allowing them to significantly relieve congestion. The chord is being laid from the Moscow – St. Petersburg toll road on the western side of Oktyabrskaya railway, along the Small Ring of the Moscow Railway to the new interchange on the Moscow Ring Road at the intersection with the Veshnyaki - Lyubertsy highway.

There will be a railway overpass on the section of the North-Eastern Expressway from Festivalnaya Street to Dmitrovskoye Shosse. It is necessary to accommodate branch No. 2 of the Moscow railway junction, which connects the Khovrino and Likhobory stations.

On this site it is also planned to build 4 road overpasses, two overpasses over the railway tracks and additional ramps to them. This will allow residents of nearby areas to significantly save time on travel to Dmitrovskoye Highway. Currently, in order to get onto the highway, you have to make a detour. The opening of this section will allow access to the highway directly in the area of the Petrovsko-Razumovskaya metro station.

The North-Eastern Expressway is divided into sections:

  • From Businovskaya interchange to Festivalnaya street (put into operation in 2014);

  • From Festivalnaya Street to Dmitrovskoe Highway (under construction);

  • From Dmitrovskoe highway to Yaroslavskoe highway (projected);

  • From Yaroslavskoye to Otkrytoye Shosse (route not determined);

  • From Otkrytoye to Shchelkovskoe highway (projected);

  • From Shchelkovskoe highway to Izmailovskoe highway (everything was built except the tunnel over Shchelkovskoe highway);

  • From Izmailovskoye Highway to Entuziastov Highway (under construction);

  • From the Entuziastov highway to the interchange at the 8th kilometer of the MKAD Veshnyaki - Lyubertsy (projected).

The diagrams were also placed for review on the ground floor of the Sviblovo district government building. And the public hearings themselves are scheduled for August 20. There will be a large-scale reconstruction of a huge area of the north-east of the city, and information about this will be useful not only for cyclists, but also for pedestrians and, of course, motorists.
Here are just a few proposed changes: near the Sviblovo metro station, all surface pedestrian crossings will be removed and a circular car traffic system will be made, the street Amundsen want to continue to New Beringov right across the square(!), at the intersection Yenisei And Pilot Babushkin There will also be a roundabout for cars, and a huge six-lane overpass (that same expressway) will become a new transit highway in our district. Now let's talk about everything in order.

Let us say right away that there is nothing in the presented materials about cycling infrastructure. In addition to the indicator of bicycle parking near the transport hub on one of the diagrams, the designer could not answer where exactly they would be located. Actually, it's expected. Nevertheless, let's try to analyze the information that has already been published.

TPU "Sviblovo"

01. This is what the picture of what they are going to build looks like.

02. Although there are a lot of documents and various schematic images on TPU, it’s not easy to figure out what’s what.
This is what the plan of the entire area to be reconstructed looks like

03. The most important document in materials on TPU "Sviblovo" this one: “PROJECT PLANNING OF THE TERRITORY OF THE TRANSPORTATION JOINT (TPU) SVIBLOVO State Unitary Enterprise “MOSCOW METROPOLITAN”.
The text is placed inside the file "Approved part. Corrected".

The very essence of what is planned to be done is in the Explanatory Note and it is written in a more or less understandable language.

We will publish this “note” in full:

Explanatory note

on planning organization of territory and construction, reconstruction of objects capital construction. The territory allocated for the formation of a transport hub is located on multifunctional public areas and sections of the road network in the area of the Sviblovo metro station.

The development area of the planning project is 10.23 hectares.

The territory of the transport hub, allocated within the boundaries of the planning project, is 8.27 hectares.

The land survey area of the transport hub is 10.23 hectares. The formation of a transport hub in the area of the Sviblovo metro station provides for:

  • construction of an underground-overground complex with service facilities with access to bus stops and an entrance to the metro station;

  • construction of stop pavilions with service facilities connected to the metro station lobby;

- construction of a hotel with accommodation on the ground floor of an interdistrict multifunctional center.

The transport solution of the transport hub project includes the reorganization of the street and road network with a reduction in controlled intersections due to the arrangement of a roundabout at the intersection of Kolskaya, Novy Beringova Proezd, Amundsen and Raduzhnaya streets in accordance with the established red lines. For the convenience of passenger movement, the planning project proposes the organization of canopies over the metro and stop pavilions to ensure comfortable communication between the stops of ground urban passenger transport and the entrances to the metro. At the ground level in the areas where transport hubs are planned to be located, 11 dimensions of buildings and structures are determined.

The project provides for changing the boundaries of the PK object (No. 99-SVAO “Square at the intersection of Snezhnaya and Kola streets”) in accordance with the established red lines. The reduction in area is fully compensated by the inclusion in the PC of plots No. 10, No. 11 and No. 14 with a total area of 0.40 hectares.

04. What is written in this text? Perhaps the most important news is the loss of the park near the metro. StreetAmundsenThe park will be “cut” and traffic will be turned into a circular route. There will be little left of the green zone. The designer's representative convinced us at the Administration that the road "will go between the trees." Somewhere here...

05. And here too there will be a road

06. Or maybe you can successfully “build in” automobile traffic here!? In general, it seems that the park will no longer exist. It's a pity.

07. Here is an interesting “diagram” from presentation materials that “seems to” talk about the problems of pedestrians in this place.
It is not very clear who from the University of the Ministry of Internal Affairs follows this arrow. Quite the contrary, they move more on the other side, around Sviblovo shopping center. But the main thing here is more red. Like “everything is bad here, but it will be good.”

08. Another important topic is pedestrian crossings. This is what human flows look like in the designers' documents.
The scheme is, in principle, correct. But the desire to drive pedestrians “underground” is not the best option.

According to the project, all pedestrian overpasses near the Sviblovo metro station will be converted into underground ones!!!

09. These land crossings will not exist

10. This pedestrian crossing will not exist either.

11. This won't happen either.

12. And this land crossing will disappear. Everything is underground!
Car enthusiasts might probably like this. Well, what will pedestrians, cyclists, and people with strollers say?

13. Everything looks great in the pictures at the office. There are escalators to the street, navigation, and even GROUND CROSSINGS with a zebra crossing and a traffic light (look at the middle photo below)! Strange right?! According to the plan, only underground passages, but in the picture they showed a normal crossing and a zebra crossing! In response to our remark, the designer’s representative threw up his hands: “There are errors in the materials, that’s true... On our map, the name of the street was mixed up... Sorry.”
Although it would be more correct to cross out this photo with a zebra with a big red marker.

14. There is also a presentation at the council about green spaces. It is unclear where exactly this bench will be placed.

15. Probably on the spot Square A few trees will be left, and they will find a place for a bench there.
The fact is that several years ago two buildings were built near the Sviblovo metro station. shopping center. It is clear that now they will not demolish them, but will widen roads and build facilities TPU Now it is possible only at the expense of the last green territory, that is, at the expense of the Square.
This is what the “public space” near the metro looks like now. Continuous shopping malls...

16. Whether the famous “stop with a pine tree” will survive after all this construction “mix” is also unknown...

In general, here it is TPU "Sviblovo" will build. It is important to have time to make comments and make suggestions. There are many questions: the fence of house 28 Snezhnaya(something needs to be done with it), hotel, parking, location of OT stops, etc.

Northeast chord

17. All information materials can be viewed.It is almost impossible to make out anything on the maps.

But if you download this file to your computer, you will get very detailed map our area and those places where the chord will go. You can look at the map itself and the objects marked on it for a long time: magnification allows you to see some details...

18. For example, I discovered the new kind street intersections Yeniseiskaya And Pilot Babushkin.
They want to organize a roundabout for cars here.

19. Cyclists, of course, are interested in how intersections with the chord will be organized at popular intersections: with Serebryakova passing through, With Agricultural Street, with the street Wilhelm Pieck, with the street Snezhnaya etc. By the way, the construction of such large highways always entails the reconstruction of adjacent streets.
For example, 1st Botanichesky passage According to the planning project for the new residential area, it will become a 4-lane highway...

20. For example, now many cyclists and pedestrians use these ground crossings near the 1st Botanichesky passage. What will happen after the construction of the chord is unclear.

21. The further cycling route to the side is also important VDNH: under the canvas Moscow Ring Railway and along the construction site Chinese Business Center. Nowadays there are few pedestrians and it is convenient to travel by bicycle. How will bicycle and pedestrian flows be organized in this section after such a large-scale construction of the highway and TPU "Botanical Garden" not reported yet.

Questions about how car traffic, bicycle traffic and pedestrian passage will be organized need to be asked to designers now. Within the framework of Public Hearings, including. And taking into account also the plans of the city authorities to build several huge residential areas in the north-east of the capital (you can read about this also), it can be assumed that in the coming years, car traffic, bicycle routes and the existing pedestrian infrastructure in these areas of the city can greatly change. We'll see in which direction very soon.

For those who are not on vacation), we provide details on the Public Hearings:

Meetings participants of public hearings will take place on August 20, 2015 at 19:00 at the following addresses:

According to the project for planning the territory of a linear road network object: a section of the North-Eastern Expressway from the Otkrytoe Highway to the Yaroslavl direction of the Moscow Railway, including the reconstruction of the Bogorodsky overpass.

The section of the North-Eastern Expressway - from Festivalnaya Street to Dmitrovskoye Shosse - will be completed by 2018. Its length is almost 11 kilometers, there will be many overpasses, overpasses and tunnels. Work on the new site is now in full swing. On Monday, Sergei Sobyanin visited the large-scale construction site.

Almost five kilometers of highway along the Oktyabrskaya Railway. On the working diagram for the construction of the North-Eastern Expressway, this section is number 7. It will connect the existing exit to the Moscow-St. Petersburg highway with Dmitrovskoye Highway. The amount of work is colossal. Indeed, in addition to the construction of the roadway itself, it is necessary to shift kilometers of communications, reports.

Thorough preparations were made for the start of construction here. The road will pass through a vast industrial zone. To make room, dozens of buildings have to be demolished. Car repair shops, warehouses, garage complexes - all of this is being removed to accommodate overpasses and overpasses. Even pumping station, which serves an entire microdistrict, will be moved to the other side of the railway line. At the same time, consumers will not be disconnected for a minute. Such preparatory work not only takes a lot of time, but also accounts for a significant part of the budget.

“60 percent of our efforts and time will be spent on clearing the territory, moving communications - these are heating mains, water supply, power lines, other underground, for example, cable collectors we have, after which we will begin large-scale construction of the structures themselves,” said the head of the construction department Moscow Andrey Bochkarev.

In total, more than 10 kilometers of roads will be built on this site. Most of it will be on overpasses and overpasses. The 170-meter bridge across the Likhoborka River will become one of the most complex engineering structures. Its width will allow for 11 traffic lanes with access to a large road junction towards the Yaroslavskoye Highway.

“We have started the most complex section of the Moscow road network. This is the connection of the toll road to St. Petersburg and Dmitrovka. We have already completed one section to Festivalnaya, now we have started the second section, which almost entirely consists of overpasses, overpasses, tunnels and a bridge We hope that we will finish it in 2018,” Sobyanin said.

However, the builders promise to deliver some sections earlier. When ready. When the section from Festivalnaya to Dmitrovka is built in its entirety, it will become part of the 35-kilometer North-Eastern Expressway. This will be a “first category” city highway. A multi-lane, traffic-light-free highway that will provide a diagonal connection between opposite districts of Moscow, while skirting the busy streets of the center.
