By participating in the shooting of the Military Show "Army", he took up the selection of personnel for his solo project in the style of "Melodic Heavy Rock". And already announced the names of his participants. They became Guitarist Alexey Straik (Pilgrim, Ex-Master), Basist Igor "Bach" Moravian (Pilgrim) and Drummer Oleg "Cobra" Hovrin (ex-master). About what it is - to start life after Aria, I asked the musician between the current tour flights.
Let's start, perhaps, with the "Army" - the realistic show of the first channel in which you took part and which in September will appear on our TV screens. What are the impressions that they were interested in interesting?
A lot of everything. Since I didn't have the opportunity to serve in our army, I had to comprehend all this "kitchen" from scratch: I plunged into the bake of the bake and completely felt how it all happens in real life. That is, the "show" is just a name; In fact, we were trained as they brought up real recruits.
And the grandfather was? ..
No, not to such an extent. But the rest is building preparation, morning rise, fighting alarms, shooting, tanks, infantry ... everything was. Is that bullets idle. Many "media" characters took part in the project - from the world of sports, show business, politicians ... I think everyone made something new for themselves. The main thing is that everything was completely realistic: it feels that all this time I was on some other planet. And what is important, I got what has not felt for a long time: a sense of team, a sense of friends - people who can rely on, with whom you can go on the attack and to know exactly that they will not shoot you in the back.
In the team of musical such a sense of reliability?
Well I do not know. Everything is somehow different there ... well, or maybe I do not understand something. In any case, I did my conclusions, and it is irreversible.
What are your plans for the near future?
I will develop my project. Musicians have already selected, in the near future we are going to record a single with four new songs. For this, everything is ready. Well, then there will be an album. Plus tour, concerts ... We actively speak.
Songs of the Aria will also be executed?
Of course, the arias and autographs. (Arthur's vocalist was from 82 to the collapse of the team at the beginning of the 90s. Ten years later with the musicians of the Mavrik group, he tried to recreate it called the autograph of the XXI century, but the copyrights did not defend. In Aria, he appeared in 2002, - approx. auth.) After all, it is impossible to be so easy to invite the public to the concert - and to rub an unfamiliar one, a new repertoire. It is incorrect, including in terms of business. So we play all the little - and the new, and the old one.
Will the new music be stylistically different from what you did before - as part of the same autograph, aria?
My style question does not take care of: how it is written, so writes. But ... in general ... I would say, this is a melodic hard rock. A little more ballad than it was before: less riffs, screams and moans. Composite work I took over, and the texts written one of my nearest friends, the poet Anatoly Zhukov.
What is the main topic?
A lot of everything. This is love, and the struggle of goodness with evil, and much more corresponding to the genre. Except, of course, knights and burning crosses.
"The burning of crosses" and dark themes for our rockers are not typical at all.
The topics of the songs depends on the order. There is a poet - you come to him and say: Be kind, write on such a topic, and so. And they give the right, suitable text.
Poems themselves did not write?
Poems wrote, of course. Even a couple of songs created himself. And people even like people. And I - no ... something is wrong. Therefore, I prefer to use the services of people who do it professionally. Everyone should do their own business, the fact that it turns out best.
There is no feeling of some downshifting now? Aria is still a big group ...
Not. After all, I'm not a newcomer, but a musician that took place, with my audience, with my own developments, my songs. Now it is just a new period of life begins ... and it is positive. I feel overwhelmed and configured very decisively. The main thing is that next to the faithful friends, a good, played team, which I can trust.
On the last day of the summer, your last concert is planned as part of Aria. And after that, the group is preparing for the release of a new disk with an eloquent name. Phoenix. Have you participated in writing these songs?
Mmm ... no. I have no idea what they are going to do. I did not participate in the creation of this material, but ... (pause)... In principle, I imagine what songs are about. That is, there were sweating to rehearse.
I promised not to ask a sacramental question, why your paths were separated, "although it is obvious that it is more likely about the systemic crisis, than impulsive solution. Come in - tell yourself ... Someday ... But do not regret what happened so?

I'm not tired of the group and from music, so there was nothing to rest. I wanted to realize as soon as possible. And not even for yourself: many people were interested in where I am and what is going to do next, and it was necessary to keep the answer before them. I am also grieving fresh ideas now: I want to write a new album rather soon, especially since the material is enough.
site: The material was created even at the time when you were in the "Aria"?
Not. I had some ideas, but not ready-made songs. I did not even think that the embodiment would have so rapidly and unexpectedly.

site: You have repeatedly started everything from scratch. It was easier to build a group then twenty years ago, or now - in the age of the Internet and social networks?
With the Internet is easier, of course. But I do not think that I do something from scratch. I have familiar to whom I addressed with the question, how to make a new program, and they answered that I need absolutely everything to change in my music. Such people ride me in pessimism. But there are others who say: "Let's do what is!" And such people are a fire that I need. We united and, thanks to this, came with Artur Berkut to Ukraine, where "Aria" - she never speaking, and saw the full hall. No one needs to prove anything, and I'm not going to do it. I'm not at that age to declare something new. I just want to do what I like, and I want to have like-minded people. Then our music will shoot. This is the law of a team game. Have you seen the project "Special Task"? Have you seen how this law is available there? For ten minutes, people, almost not knowing each other, but combined with a common idea, are able to cope with any difficulty.
site: Does the pace of life have changed now?
Of course not! In our group we do everything ourselves. For example, my wife is engaged in management. From morning to evening it sits on the Internet, communicates with the organizers of concerts. Work is around the clock. I have constantly some shooting, interviews, ethers ... perhaps not so large-scale, as before, but regular. I give a lot of acoustic concerts. So I even got less free time.
site: Do you miss stadiums?
No ... And why should I miss them?

And when Russian texts appeared, the moments of breaking began: vowels and consonant sounds change, everything is different in the throat. It is possible to change the strings on the bass guitar, and immediately everything will sound differently. And you will not change ligaments! Here it is necessary or used to get used and train, or ... vocal records, as such, there was no one. There were only sketches. And I don't like it altogether - apparently, I didn't get so lucky with groups - when the instrument is recorded, everyone can sit in the studio just before the science: four guitars, sixteen bass guitars, eighteen drums ... And when it comes to vocal - "Come on Faster! No, something is wrong .. Let's try the other ... Come on, then tomorrow. " It seems that the main thing is in the instrumental. It always kills me. I believe that the record of vocals should be approached much more serious. But, apparently, the idea of \u200b\u200banother vocalist was formed in advance, and it was such a circus representation for me (laughs).
With your arrival in Aria on stage, there was less pathos and more rock and roll and clowns, in the good sense of the word.
Arthur Berkut: I am, I can't do anything differently! Maybe "Aryans" cost first to ride with me on tour and understand: "Dude, it's some Van Halen!" What, for example, maybe the "fight continues" when a person climbs on columns?! Maybe it played a role in my resignation. But in his forehead, no one said about it. The most important thing is to like people, and I always pushing out the audience. It seems to me that it is very important. Who buys tickets for concerts? Due to what we live? We in Russia, unfortunately, do not live at the expense of the sale of plates, and at the expense of fans coming to concerts. They want to see enterteenment, they want to see the show. If I wrote music for the group, I would not bring anything new. Anyway, it is better than a canvastin and a double, no one will do it. And then, the public is very difficult to deceive. How hard it was to survive a gap with a group that was given to nine years?

I learned about the decision of the group a day before the application is published. It was quite painful, especially if you consider my age! (laughs) If I were 18 years old, I would say: "Yes, you went!" (laughs). And then, in this story no one pays attention to the public. And it is monstrous. For many, Aria became a cult. And very ugly, when the nail politics belong to people who support the group when they look like on trash. It was possible to somehow bring them somehow. Judging by what was happening on my site ... After a conversation with Aria, I immediately left for the city. And then my son calls and says: "You need to come. There is a very serious discussion on the forum." I thought that it would not be interesting to anyone: Maxim died, and hell with him. But it turns out, everything happened on the contrary!
The idea of \u200b\u200bthe solo project appeared immediately?
Arthur Berkut: not immediately. But I had a pretty much material accumulated, and working in Aria was impossible to embody it into life. Two groups parallel to me would just not pull. And after communication with fans on the Internet, I thought that if a solo project is interesting to someone, he has the right to exist. Let, even, not at such a global scale, like an aria, but I will always have my own niche, like the other "Aryan" immigrants.
How do you have these musicians in the group?
Arthur Berkut: I did not participate in the concerts of Andrei Kovaleva and the Pilgrim group, I was recorded with them, starred in the video. So I was familiar with the guys. I called Alexey Straight and asked to help with the search for a guitarist to record a demo. A few days later he called back and offered to work together. There was no selection and listening - it was neither time nor nerves.
Initially, Alexander Karpukhin was planned for the drums, but in the end this place was taken by Oleg Khovrin.
Arthur Berkut: Sasha was born a child, and to pull him out of the family would be inhuman and monstrous. When there is a small child in the family, a man must be near his wife, and not drive around around the country. And we plan to ride a lot.
In the group all your musical ideas, or something comes from the musicians?
Arthur Berkut: Of course, they bring something in the songs. I can't come up with a batch of drums. Everyone has to do his job and feel very comfortable in it. So all the guys come up with their parties. If the song can be played on the guitar, as before in the entrance, then it's just a sled song! Creating a material, we do not want to "rejected", "Mix" songs. We want to make a modern, current sound, not focusing on old sound. We must leave the skeleton, the backbone of the song, and everything that happens around it should be available, naturally and relevant. In the spirit of time. But the hard and metal nerve will necessarily!

Arthur Berkut: I do not know. It depends on what we find a sound ...
Arthur Berkut: Of course will be. If the songs are good, powerful, cool, then why not. He is a member of the group! Who writes lyrics?
Arthur Berkut: My friend Poet Anatoly Zhukov. I got acquainted with him a couple of years ago. Tolya voted me his talented poems, very soulful. And at some point he wrote several texts on ready-made melodies. It turned out like oil. Anatoly has very affordable texts: they do not harness crosses, knights are not cut off. There is a relationship between people, love - that is, all understandable things.
Nevertheless, how is the group called correctly?
Arthur Berkut: The project is called Arthur Berkut.
Why not just a Berkut?
Arthur Berkut: Because there is a Ukrainian riot police "Berkut", there is a performer of Chanson Berkut, there is someone else. And people begin to be confused. In addition, the organizers of concerts working on our tour, said that from the point of view of business it is better to write simply "Arthur Berkut". So it does not arise. It suits me quite.
What will the Single "right given"?
Arthur Berkut: There are two tempo things on it and two ballads. I generally wanted to make a ballad single, but it is necessary that people feel that there is a Balls group. Balls to the Wall! That everything is a flaw. By the way, the song "Eagle", which I wrote quite recently, we even rehearsed with Aria for the album. She, however, now the arrangement is now completely redone.

Arthur Berkut: Yes, I offered a song with the text, but he did not pass on topics. And the song itself took with a big creak.

Arthur Berkut: I am very good for musicians who are engaged in their business. And if they ask me, I will sing with them with pleasure. I am always for ensuring that people are more united.
