She is known to most music lovers for her non-trivial, intriguing video clips. The provocative baroque “Bite”, “Dress”, warning about how dangerous human disagreements are for domestic animals, “Ranima”, in which hitherto unnoticed connections between the words “Courchevel” and “Currency Exchange Office” were revealed. Milovich and company easily and ironically showed the essence of human relationships. She is not looking for empty popularity; she cannot be found among the numerous glossy faces of secular magazines. But she works with excellent musicians and records subtle and elegant albums, and in addition to her musical talent, she has an extraordinary gift for leadership.
Lina Milovich has three solo albums in her creative baggage. The first “Pedicure” (2005) was created in collaboration with some of the best electronic artists in the country - the group “Deadushki” and the then drummer of the group “Splin” Sergei Navetny, in collaboration with the poetess Tatyana Mironova.
The famous Western producer and master of arrangement, Englishman Yoad Nevo, who has produced dozens of albums by Bryan Adams, Goldfrapp, Morcheeba, Duran Duran, Vanessa Mae, Jem and many others, contributed to the release of the second “Here” (2007). . Several compositions for the album were written by famous rock musician Sergei Galanin.
The third album “Materialization” (2010), consisting of 9 compositions, opens a new era in Milovich’s work. She herself began to write lyrics for her own songs. The singer has previously spoken in her work about things that are serious and important for people who think and feel. And now that she spoke “in her own language,” it became easier for the public to perceive her thoughts. As a result, two new songs “Easy” and “Chocolate” were included in radio rotation, and the song “Fly” was included in the soundtrack of the new film based on Oksana Robski’s book “About Lyuboff” (dir. Lina Milovich is a fairly new phenomenon for the domestic stage. After all, what do accomplished businesswomen usually sing? Helpless pop songs in two stomps, three slams. And Milovich started musical career from collaboration with some of the best electronic musicians in the country “Deadushki” and the then drummer of “Splin” Sergei Navetny.
They recorded the album Pedicure, creating a bizarre world of electronic trip-pop, a world of halftones and rustling sounds. Even if the album is inferior to the original sources in the person of Goldfrapp and Morcheeba, it takes its toll with aching intonation and inescapable Russian-Armenian melancholy.

The logical next step would be to collaborate with Goldfrapp and Morcheeba themselves. This is exactly what Lina Milovic does. A business man walks a straight path. She found programmer and sound producer Yoad Nevo in London, who had worked with Goldfrapp, Morcheeba, Duran Duran, Vanessa Mae, Mandalay and Vanessa Amorosi. By the way, the instrumental piece “Winter” by the Bond group, to which figure skater Alexey Yagudin dances, is also his composition. He agreed to work with the Russian singer, and most of the songs for the new album were composed by Sergei Galanin (Serga group) and Tatyana Mironova.
Yoad Nevo has done a lot of work. Eleven tracks “Milovich is here” – nine slow ones. And each of them is good in its own way. Tablas and kalimbas were used for “One Time Sleep”, and Greek zither and African banjo for “Running on the Waves”. The gentle, almost airy sophistication of the English-Israeli sound producer has brought worthy results. The sad, delicate vocals of Lina Milovich are framed by exciting sequences of electronic choirs and the trip-hop patter of insinuating percussion.

Lina Milovic's new album is high quality unusual job. It marks a new trend in domestic pop music, when venerable Western sound producers are accepted to refine the sound of thoughtful artists.
