Almost nothing, since the characteristics are regulated by users personally, and the visual component does not affect the gameplay.

The further fate of the weapon

All that remains is to figure out what further fate will accompany this sword. In the last part of Dante's adventures, the hunter remained alive and received the support of powerful allies. In addition, he has become more mature, is good at handling registered weapons and is not averse to using them in the future. Probably, the subsequent development of history will again return us to the origins, where the main problem will be the family connection of demons with Sparda. The fact is that the Rebel cannot harm dark creatures that have the blood of the prince of darkness, and he will have to look for completely different ways to destroy new opponents. One thing is for sure, the subsequent parts of the adventures about Dante will be exciting and interesting.

Melee Weapons

  • Rebellion(Rebel) - Dante's unchanging sword. This version of the sword is very different from the version from previous games in the series: it is thinner and slightly shorter, and there is no skull on its hilt. The sword has three forms: standard, demonic and angelic. Dante does not carry the sword with him: it materializes behind his back at his request and, mainly, only in Limbo.
  • Osiris(Osiris) - the angelic form of the sword, made in the form of a long braid of a bluish tint. With its help, Dante is able to perform fast and long, but low-damaging chains of attacks, which helps him keep enemies in the air, as well as attack enemies surrounding Dante. It is also necessary to destroy bluish-tinged demons who react only to the attacks of Osiris.
    • Ophion Angel Lift(Ophion's Angelic Lifter) - the shape of an angelic scythe, is a whip with the likeness of a snake's mouth at the end. Using his whip, Dante can be pulled towards enemies and certain special ledges as part of combat and puzzle solving.
  • Arbiter(Arbiter) - the demonic form of a sword in the form of a black ax with a bright red blade. The weapon is the complete opposite of Osiris: instead of long and fast blows, the player is able to deliver slow and short, but crushing blows, which are mainly focused on one or two demons. Necessary for destroying reddish enemies who react only to the Arbiter’s blows, as well as special doors to pass through.
    • Ophion Demon Pull(Ophion's Demonic Thrust) is a new form of demonic axe. It is a hook with something like a three-fingered claw at the end. With the help of thrust, Dante is able to pull opponents towards him, as well as tear out or pull certain platforms and objects, which is part of the combat process and puzzle solving.
  • Eryx(Eriks) - a melee weapon of demonic form. Looks disproportionately large stone hands with fiery scars, engulfed in flames. Dante can deliver both regular attacks and charged, slow but devastating blows. Erix is ​​used to juggle enemies and parry their attacks, as well as to break special crystals that impede passage, and is necessary to destroy special enemies. Eryx is slower than the Rebel, but faster than the Arbiter.
  • Aquila(Aquila - eagle) - a melee weapon of angelic form. Represents throwing glaives. Dante is able to attack all enemies around him with them, and at a greater distance than Osiris. Dante is also able to attract all enemies around him. Like Osiris, Aquila helps in battle against special enemies. The speed of the Aquila is superior to other weapons.

Ranged Weapons

  • Ebony and Ivory(Black and White) - Dante's pistols. Unlike previous games in the series, where Dante called the pistols “guys,” in this game Dante calls them “girlfriends” (which can be heard in one of the trailers, while in the subtitles of the Russian version of the game, he calls the pistols “guys”). As before, Dante masters them perfectly: he performs acrobatic somersaults and spins. Dante is also able to charge pistols with energy, after which one shot hits several opponents at once with a ricochet. Automatically bind to the target.
  • Revenant(Resurrected - Otherworldly) - an extremely powerful sawn-off shotgun. As in previous games, he is able to attack both one enemy and several at once (Dante rotates the weapon around himself). Dante is also capable of firing a charged shot of enormous power.
  • Kablooey(Stun Gun) - A firearm that is actually a simple Taser, but becomes a formidable weapon in Limbo. The Shocker uses explosive charges: the player can shoot first and then detonate the charge.
