Cow meat contains a small amount of fat, but contains a huge supply of protein. By eating beef every day, you can be calm about the condition of your hair, nails and skin health.

This meat is often baked in the oven, fried in the form of chops and prepared in salads. In general, the quality of a dish depends on the correctness of its preparation. Thus, the meat of a young calf is called veal. It cooks for no more than half an hour. But beef takes a little longer - from one to one and a half hours.

Salads with it are made from fresh vegetables, pickled cucumbers and many ingredients. Season with mayonnaise, mustard-cream sauce, olive oil.

Simple beef salad

The most common beef salad is made from simple products, which are not deficit.

Wash the meat and boil for one hour. After boiling, be sure to skim off the foam - this will remove blood and excess liquid. Wash the vegetables and place them on kitchen paper towels to dry.

Open the jar of olives and pour out the brine (you need to take them pitted), cut into large rings, tomatoes and cheese into cubes, peppers into long strips. We tear the lettuce leaves randomly with our hands.

Remove the meat, let it cool and chop into medium pieces. Combine all the prepared ingredients into one salad bowl, sprinkle with salt and parsley. Add olive oil and stir vigorously.

Hearty meat salad “Obzhorka”

This recipe is not as well known as other buffet salads, but by preparing it once, you will make it a regular guest on the table. It is laid out in layers or all the ingredients are mixed - this is optional.

Components:

  • Champignons – 200 g;
  • Veal – 300 g;
  • Carrots – 1 pc.;
  • Onion – 1 pc.;
  • Vegetable oil - for frying;
  • Suluguni – 200 g;
  • Fresh cucumber – 1 pc.;
  • Low-fat mayonnaise – 100 ml;
  • Low-fat sour cream – 100 ml;
  • Salt - to taste.

Cooking time – hour.

Energy value is 260 Kcal/100 g.

Boil the veal in salted water. Chop the champignons, onions and carrots into slices and fry in heated oil.

Wash the cucumber and chop it in a food processor or with a fillet knife. Cut the cheese into strips, then into cubes. Mix mayonnaise and sour cream in a small bowl.

Cool the meat and chop it randomly into slices. We put all the products together. Add some salt, pour over the mixed sauce and stir vigorously.

Let it soak for ten minutes.

Classic Prague salad

The classic version of this dish, which came to us from Prague, is prepared from several types of meat and garnished with apples. But we will change it slightly and cook it only with beef. It's easy to do.

Components:

  • Beef meat – 350 g;
  • Sweet apples – 2 pcs.;
  • Pickled cucumbers – 3 pcs.;
  • Lettuce leaves – 5 pcs.;
  • Lemon – 0.5 pcs.;
  • Sunflower oil – 50 ml;
  • Mustard – 2 tbsp. l.;
  • Low-fat mayonnaise – 150 ml;
  • Onion – 2 pcs.;
  • Salt - to taste;
  • Dill - a bunch;
  • Paprika – 1 pc.

Cooking time is about an hour.

Calorie content will be 113 Kcal/100 g.

After washing and drying the vegetables, we begin to cut them up. Chop the onion into half rings, cucumbers into slices, then into small cubes, pepper into strips, apples into quarters, cut out the middle and then into small pieces.

It is better to use yellow or red sweet fruits; together with mustard dressing they will perfectly highlight the taste of the salad. If you don't like the bitterness of onions, soak them in water.

Cut the meat into pieces. Place in a food bag and beat with a hammer. Fry in oil until a crust appears. Cover with a lid so that it does not have time to cool.

Take half a lemon, pierce the pulp with a fork in several places and squeeze the juice into a small bowl. Add mayonnaise, mustard, salt and mix well. If you can’t find lemon, replace it with a spoonful of vinegar diluted with citric acid.

Place clean green lettuce leaves on a flat plate, warm meat on top, and mixed vegetables on top, pour over the dressing and finish with apples.

It is necessary to pour the dressing only before eating, so that all the juice does not drain prematurely.

“Hunter” salad with beef

The name of the salad has nothing to do with hunters, it’s just that the original recipe included hunting sausages, but over time interpretations with beef, pork or chicken appeared. In any version, the result is a hearty and unusual salad. Cook it quickly - half an hour, and the dish is ready.

Components:

  • Young beef – 500 g;
  • Pickled mushrooms – 1 jar;
  • Onion – 2 pcs.;
  • Mustard – 2 tbsp. l.;
  • Sour cream – 3 tbsp. l.;
  • Salt - to taste;
  • Pickled cucumbers – 3 pcs.;
  • Pepper – two pinches;
  • Olive oil – 50 ml;
  • Carrots – 1 pc.

Salad preparation time: 30 minutes.

100 grams contain 219 kcal of energy.

Wash and dry the meat, immerse it in salted water and cook for half an hour. Peel the onion and chop it into half rings, carrots into random pieces. Place the oil in a frying pan and sauté the vegetables until transparent. Cut the cucumbers in half, then into strips.

Drain the brine from the champignons and rinse once with warm water. If the mushrooms are small, leave them whole; chop large ones in half.

Mix mustard, salt and low-fat sour cream together. Grind the meat into cubes. We combine everything in a large salad bowl, pour in the sauce and stir until a homogeneous consistency.

This salad is prepared not only with pickled mushrooms, they can be replaced with fresh fried champignons.

Oriental salad with red beans

Delicious Caucasian salad with canned beans, nuts and cilantro combined with beef.

Components:

  • Walnuts – 100 g;
  • Khmeli-suneli – 0.5 tsp;
  • Garlic – 2 cloves;
  • Cilantro - a bunch;
  • Sweet pepper – 2 pcs.;
  • Red beans – 1 can;
  • Red onion – 2 heads;
  • Pepper - a pinch;
  • Olive oil – 6 tbsp. l;
  • Salt - to taste;
  • Beef pulp – 400 g;
  • Wine vinegar – 2 tbsp. l.

Cooking time is half an hour.

The calorie content is high (537 Kcal/100 g), and will not leave you hungry.

Boil the young meat for half an hour. We peel the onion and chop it into rings; if it is juicy and homemade, immerse it in boiling water so that the bitterness comes out and does not overwhelm the entire taste of the salad. Wash the pepper, cut out the core, and chop it into strips with a fillet knife. Open the beans, pour out the brine and rinse with warm water.

Remove the shells from the nuts and lightly chop them and fry them in a dry frying pan for several minutes, stirring occasionally.

Chop the garlic with a knife or grater. We check the readiness of the meat by piercing the flesh with a knife; if clear juice comes out, it’s ready. Remove and let cool, cut into large slices. Wash the cilantro, dry it and tear it with your hands.

Mix olive oil and wine vinegar. We transfer the prepared products into a salad bowl and, after seasoning with salt, suneli hops and pepper, pour in the dressing. Mix well.

  1. To boil beef, use a little pan large sizes than a piece of meat, it will turn out juicier;
  2. It is recommended to season salads with beef with mayonnaise or sour cream and mustard dressings. But if this is a dish with fresh vegetables, then it is better to use vegetable oils;
  3. Fresh herbs perfectly complement the taste of salads with beef: dill, mint, string, basil, wild garlic, parsley. Put it in the dish even if the recipe does not contain it;
  4. The meat must be boiled under a tightly closed lid. Any addition of water during the process is unacceptable, it affects the subsequent result and taste;
  5. After boiling, immediately remove the meat from the broth so that it does not get wet. And immediately after cooling, cut it up so that it does not dry out or become chapped;
  6. When boiling beef, add one teaspoon of mild mustard to the water, the color of the broth will be richer, and the meat will be softer. The spice flavor will disappear after boiling for half an hour.
