And this concentration is very small, does not exceed 0.005%. I’ll tell you from my own experience: I’ve never seen sodium nitrite exceed the standard.

It is added to wine and dried fruits, but for some reason not a word is written about its presence.

Thiabendazole, diphenyl, orthophenol. They cover bananas and citrus fruits with a thin layer. A thin waxy coating saves the fruit from spoilage. So wash your fruits thoroughly before eating.

Vitamins and minerals. Added to baby food, juices, and dairy products. They help make products balanced and healthy.

Emulsifiers and stabilizers. Without them, we wouldn't eat ice cream or mayonnaise. The products would simply disintegrate into their component parts. For example, lecithin is a good natural emulsifier. There is a lot of it in egg yolk. This is why homemade mayonnaise does not separate, and all the cholesterol contained in eggs is not completely absorbed by the body.

Modified starch, pectins, agar-agar, gelatin. Refers to thickeners. They are a good ballast substance and are practically not digested by the body. I would like to mention agar-agar.
