Veterans of War are a very interesting and unusual generation, with honor of the Great Thighters Patriotic War, enduring all life tests and ending with the War of the victory in Berlin.

Veterans are the main witnesses and participants in the history of the Soviet state and modern Russia. Their childhood passed during the country's collectivization, youth in the years of the first five-year plans, they participated in the combat operations of the Red Army in the pre-war years. They defended their homeland in the brutal war with the fascists and dismissed the occupied cities and villages of Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, Moldova and the Baltic republics with the battles. It was Soviet soldiers who brought the liberation of Europe's peoples from fascism!

In the peaceful postwar years, the front-line was raised the destroyed national economy, the giant plants were built, managed factories and collective farms, taught in schools and institutes of future cosmonauts, brought up the heroes of socialist labor and famous transit of production.

And now the time has come when we have to help them, surround the concern and provide decent old age. After all, even at present, their living conditions are sufficiently difficult, so they really need our support.

As part of our work, we solve the following tasks:

  • protection of civil, socio-economic, labor and personal rights of veterans;
  • improving the material situation, medical and domestic service veterans;
  • legal assistance to veterans and members of their families;
  • address assistance to veterans in a severe life situation;
  • development volunteer movement countrywide;
  • patriotic education of young people;
  • military historical work.

What tasks do we solve?

    Protection of civil, socio-economic, labor and personal rights of veterans.
    Unfortunately, even now the system of socio-economic support of war veterans and labor has a number of significant drawbacks. Regularly there are delays of pensions, benefits, lack of benefits and medical care quotas. We try to figure out every question, we try to ensure the timeliness of payments and compliance with the full volume of benefits and simplify all the procedures related to this.

    Improving the material situation, medical and domestic service veterans.
    Today, more than 40% of war and labor veterans need material support to obtain timely and high-quality medical care, to repair in apartments and houses, to buy drugs, clothing, food and household goods. More than 10% need home supervision, and more than 20% in the device in special social institutions (nursing homes and boardings). We provide individual address support for veterans (for example, buying wheelchairs and medicines, apartment repairs, organization of work of social services at home and much more).

    Legal assistance to veterans and members of their families.
    Our life is quite unpredictable and sometimes puts questions about us in which the support of a competent lawyer needs. Currently, qualified legal support is very expensive. We accept applications from veterans and try to ensure legal assistance in the difficult everyday situations.

    Development of volunteer movement throughout the country.
    One of the most powerful levers to help veterans and older people are volunteers. The development of the volunteer movement is one of the most important tasks of our organization. Currently, we cooperate with the Volunteer Victory Volunteers, we organize assistance projects and take various measures to popularize the volunteer movement.
