The life of the monaclers is very different from the municipality of ordinary people, but in one it is similar: kings, like everyone else, rarely work where they live. Philip VI is no exception. He, as before him, his father Juan Carlos I, together with his family prefers not to live in the official residence.

Royal Palace in Madrid (Palacio Real de Madrid) or the East Palace (Palacio de Oriente) is located in the western part of the capital of Spain and is considered one of the main urban attractions.

Once upon a time there really lived Spanish kings in it, but modern monarchs prefer to enjoy it for official ceremonies.

Official photos of Palacio Real de Madrid.

It is possible that among the governing luxury of the official residence of the Spanish kings the monarch feels uncomfortable.

So, for example, the palace looks like a front dining room.

The royal palace is surrounded by a Moorish field and a park with Sabatini gardens.

Currently, the building is actually turned into a museum: various works of art are exhibited here: sculpture, furniture, carpets and so on. The decoration of the palace went a few centuries, so there is something to see. On the Internet there are many photos and the video of the Royal Palace in Madrid.

The interiors of the palace are considered one of the most luxurious in Europe.

Palace Sarsuela

For everyday life, his Royal Highness Don Felipe Juan Pablo Alfonso de Todos Los Santos de Bourbon and Gresia (this is how his title sounds completely) prefers less pompous accommodation: the Royal Palace of Sarsuel (Palacio De La Zarzuela).

The residence of Sarsela is located in the North-West suburbs of Madrid and is closed to visit as a museum.

This is the private territory of the Spanish kings, which stands on Mount Monte El Pardo. Palacio de la Zarzuela was built in the 17th century as a royal hunting house.

Currently, Philip VI and his family live here. Filippia's family is his wife Queen Letia, nee Ortis Rokasolano, and two children: Infanta Leonor (born in 2005) and Infanta Sofia (2007). Leonor B. this moment He is the heiress of the Spanish throne.

The name Palacio de la Zarzuela is likely to indicate an abundance in the vicinity of blackberries (in Spanish Zarza). Project Palazzo created Architect Juan Gomez de Sea. Fountains, terraces and arboretum designed Alonso Carbonell.

Sarseel's residence was badly damaged during civil War. In 1958, the building had to actually rebuild. In the 1990s, two new wings were attached to the main building. One contains private rooms of the members of the Royal Family, in other offices and security services.

On the first floor of the palace there is a living room, kitchen and pantry.

On the second there are rooms of the king, its library, guest rooms and premises for service personnel. On the third floor - additional bedrooms and cabinets.
